Public Service Broadcasting announce the release of new single and video.

A Candle Which Will Not Be Put Out is the third track to be taken from their upcoming album, This New Noise, released on 8 September 2023.

The video for the track was filmed at Public Service Broadcasting’s acclaimed performance at the 2022 BBC Proms show at London’s Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s backing.

Speaking of the track Public Service Broadcasting’s J. Willgoose, Esq. said:

“We really wanted to use the scale and physicality of the orchestra for a few dramatic set pieces across the Prom, and this piece is probably the best example of that. It builds on quite a simple melody until it gets to the big moment at the end, intended to be a rousing and defiant fanfare based around the notes – you guessed it – B, B and C.”

The band has also announced a host of UK indie record store signings which they will attend during release week and the hosting of a set of fully immersive 360 audio playbacks on a state-of-the-art d&b Soundscape system, with visuals, at the ICA on 10th September.
