Primal Scream, Mystery Jets join Boardmasters festival

Primal Scream and Mystery Jets have been added to the Boardmasters festival which takes place between August 10th-14th in Newquay.

Plenty of other acts have just joined the bill too, including Rat Boy, Lianne La Havas and Blossoms. Primal Scream sign up to another UK festival with new album ‘Chaosmosis‘ out on March 18th, while Mystery Jets released the excellent ‘Curve Of The Earth‘ last month.

“The questioning, reflecting and general soul-searching that props up the whole album closes on ‘The End Up‘, a slow, acoustic shuffle with a mantric chorus that is at once as irritating as it is easy to lie back and peacefully repeat over and over (and over and over),” our review concludes.

“Who knows what they do up there on the ISS when they’re not experimenting on themselves, but British astronaut Tim Peake could do far worse than listening to ‘Curve Of The Earth’ whilst watching its namesake from out of the Cupola window.”
