The PJ Harvey documentary will get a streaming premiere in North America.

Maestro is to host its first streaming premiere when A Dog Called Money gets an airing on December 7th.

Described as, ‘a uniquely intimate journey through the inspiration, writing and recording of a PJ Harvey record’, Seamus Murphy’s film will follow the songwriter through Afghanistan, Kosovo and Washington D.C., and then document the public space recording sessions in London which resulted in 2016’s The Hope Six Demolition Project.

“We have been bullish on live stream film premieres for years and are delighted to see this groundbreaking new use case on our platform,” Maestro CEO Ari Evans says.

“It is not surprising to see such an innovative group of creatives exploring this new direction with us starting with this powerful documentary.”

“We look forward to unlocking new opportunities for the film industry extending well beyond the pandemic as the age of streaming and digital experiences continues to flourish.”
