Albums such as ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon‘ and ‘Wish You Were Here‘ will be commemorated by the Royal Mail who are issuing ten Pink Floyd themed stamps in the UK from July 7th.

“We’re celebrating Pink Floyd, one of the most influential and successful British bands of all time, with a superb range of stamps, limited edition souvenirs and gifts,” the Royal Mail website states.

“Renowned for creating some of rock music’s most acclaimed albums and iconic imagery, Pink Floyd are also lauded for their ground-breaking live performances. Royal Mail has worked closely with Pink Floyd to bring you this exceptional collection.”

Dave Gilmour and Nick Mason returned to Pink Floyd’s 1994 ‘Division Bell‘ sessions for 2014’s ‘Endless River‘ album but Gilmour, who is touring his latest solo record ‘Rattle That Lock‘, has since said he is now ‘done’ with one of the biggest selling bands in rock history.
