Foals headlining Citadel Festival 2017 (Alberto Pezzali / Live4ever)
Starting our photo coverage from last Sunday’s Citadel event in London are headliners Foals, who were making their only UK festival appearance of the summer at Victoria Park. Alberto Pezzali presents the action first for Live4ever.

Speaking ahead of the performance, frontman Yannis Philippakis had promised some deep cuts in the set ‘for their own enjoyment’. “For our own enjoyment, we’re gonna play songs that we haven’t played before – or haven’t played for a very long time,” he told Radio X.
“Some of the material is pretty recent and some of it goes back to 2007. We want to try and play a pretty fresh set and air out some songs that don’t normally get a chance to be heard.”
