By Default‘, a “new era” according to frontman Russell Marsden is out on Friday (May 27th); a release that is being primed by European tour dates which included two shows in London last week.

The group also had a show at the Lexington last week, as well as a visit to the Great Escape in Brighton, and will count down the final days with shows in Paris and Amsterdam up to Friday.

“The first three records were like a trilogy, a piece of work in of themselves,” Marsden has also said of their new record. “We wanted to do those things, and we did them all. We took a breath, took a look at what we’d done, and started from scratch again.”

Live duties immediately continue on May 28th at Liverpool Sound City.
