Crestfallen’ is the new single from Pete MacLeod and the first taste of his forthcoming new album which will show off the results of the Glasgow songwriter resuming studio work with producer Youth.

“For me personally electronic music has become more and more relevant and interesting in creating different sounds and ideas today,” MacLeod says.

“I listen to a lot of electronica music Morning Noon and night, so I guess this was something natural for me to create with my own songs, lyrics and music. That’s the tone of the LP pretty much. I’m very happy with the result. I feel it’s a very unique and diverse album.”

The single is out on April 22nd and features guitar work from James McCartney.

Pete MacLeod was one of the first acts to join up with Alan McGee when the former Creation label boss restarted his Creation Management venture back in the spring of 2014.
