Pete Doherty will play solo shows in Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester and London a little later this year.

The details are unveiled as Doherty puts the finishing touches to his second solo album, the successor to 2009’s ‘Grace/Wastelands‘.

The Libertines man will be at the Bristol Academy on May 11th to start the tour, and from there moves on to Glasgow and Manchester ahead of two nights at the Hackney Empire in London. Tickets go on sale from March 11th.

Doherty’s more permanent return to the Libertines fold took in the third album ‘Anthems For Doomed Youth‘ last year and is currently continuing with a sold-out tour of Europe.

In addition, he will be appearing with bandmate Carl Barat at John Cale’s performance of the classic ‘Velvet Underground & Nico’ album at Philharmonie de Paris on April 3rd.

Tour dates:

Glasgow Barrowland (13)
