A headline performance on the North Stage at this year’s Liverpool Sound City has today been added to Pete Doherty‘s solo plans for 2016.
The Libertines man will play the stage on the event’s Sunday evening, adding to bands such as The Coral, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Band Of Skulls who have already been confirmed for the weekend of May 28th and 29th. Live4ever favourites Bill Ryder-Jones and C Duncan are new too for the Atlantic Stage.
Pete Doherty has a solo UK tour coming up in May after finally releasingna third studio album with The Libertines last year. He will also be appearing with his Libertines bandmate Carl Barat at John Cale’s performance of the classic ‘Velvet Underground & Nico’ album at Philharmonie de Paris on April 3rd.
