Paul Weller is touring the UK after putting out two more solo albums since the start of lockdown.
Last year’s cancellation of the dates which would’ve supported the summer 2020 release of On Sunset means Paul Weller now has two new records to showcase live after Fat Pop (Volume 1) followed in May this year.
But as we noted in our review from the Bath Forum, there’s still room for a few old favourites too:
“Never one to look back, Weller plays only a handful of Style Council numbers (including My Ever Changing Moods to open, and a rapturous Shout To The Top!) and two from The Jam, rounding out the second encore with That’s Entertainment and Town Called Malice, which obviously and reliably brings the crowd in the stalls to their feet.”
“Otherwise it’s a sojourn through his solo career, with the set broadly divided into sections comprising tracks from specific albums after a whistle-stop opening.”
