Paul Weller live in Dundee (Paul Smith for Live4ever)
Big tour news from Paul Weller and Bon Jovi brought some of Live4ever’s biggest headlines last week.
Paul Weller has announced a run of outdoor UK shows for summer 2026 following the release of his covers album Find El Dorado earlier this year.
Venues which have become regular stops on the UK’s summer event circuit during the past few years such as Piece Hall in Halifax and Dreamland Margate are included on the tour, as is Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre which will host the opening night on June 12th.
Gigs have also been scheduled in Lincoln, Liverpool, Southampton and Bedford, while the final show is at Exhibition Park in Newcastle on July 10th.
The Kooks will play outdoor UK shows in Northwich, Scarborough, Halifax and Bristol next year as part of the celebrations surrounding the 20th anniversary of their debut album Inside In/Inside Out.
The concerts are set to follow a European tour for the band and will take place across a week starting at Delamere Forest on June 17th.
Tickets go on general sale from October 31st.
The Twilight Sad have returned with their new single Waiting For The Phone Call which sees the band renewing their association with The Cure’s Robert Smith who’s provided guitars to the track.
“Waiting For The Phone Call is about grief, love and mental illness,” James Graham has explained.
“These things took over my life and I became ill. I lost the person most important to me in one of the cruellest ways.”

Bon Jovi by Mark Seliger
Bon Jovi have added a second night at Wembley Stadium to the UK and Ireland tour which is a part of their return to the live stage in 2026.
The band will play an extra concert in London on September 6th along side the other previously announced shows in Edinburgh and Dublin, while their stay at Madison Square Garden is now to last for no fewer than eight gigs.
“There is a lot of joy in this announcement – joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” Jon Bon Jovi has previously said.
Miles Kane has unveiled the details of a UK and European tour for next year following the recent release of his solo album Sunlight In The Shadows.
It’ll start in the UK with shows in Glasgow, Sheffield, Southampton, London, Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham during late January and early February, while the European leg is booked to open on February 9th in Bordeaux.
Also coming up in 2026 is spot on the bill at Kasabian’s Finsbury Park concert on July 4th.
Babyshambles have added to their upcoming 20th anniversary UK tour with the announcement of an expanded reissue of their debut album Down In Albion.
With various sessions tracks, rarities and B-sides included on this new edition, it’s been dedicated to Patrick Walden by Peter Doherty, saying:
“A beloved and beautiful man, and a rare and remarkable musical talent, Down In Albion is perhaps Patrick Walden‘s finest hour as a guitarist and composer. Let it ring out!”
