Paul Simon‘s collaboration with Bryce Dessner of The National on his new album In The Blue Light has been shared.
Simon has reworked ten tracks from his back catalogue for the record, the latest example of which is here in the form of Can’t Run But, originally on 1990’s The Rhythm Of The Saints.
The LP’s out on September 7th to coincide with the songwriting legend’s farewell North American tour of the same month.
“It’s an unusual occurrence for an artist to have the opportunity to revisit earlier works and re-think them; to modify, even completely change parts of the originals,” he’s said.
