Paul Simon is at number one in the UK with a solo studio album for the first time since 1990’s ‘Rhythm Of The Saints‘.
The legendary songwriter’s new LP ‘Stranger To Stranger‘ has followed up the similar chart-topping success of last year’s ‘Ultimate Collection‘ compilation and is the highest of only a small number of new entries in the Top 20 which do though also include The Kills‘ ‘Ash & Ice‘ at #18.
Outside of the Top 20, The Monkees‘ ‘Good Times‘ album – featuring guest songwriters such as Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller – is at #29.
