Oscar has premiered the video for ‘Sometimes‘ ahead of his debut album release on May 13th.
Footage was shot in Los Angeles with a variety of local community groups. “The wackiest group was the square dancers,” he tells Live4ever. “We had a real laugh with them. They were up for anything and got the most involved. Every group was very fun to work with, and so good-natured.”
“I learned a few square dance moves, how to balance on a miniature train and also how to roller skate properly. My CV is looking pretty impressive now!”
“I do happen to be a big Wes Anderson fan,” he continues on the apparent influence of the director in the promo. “I relate most to Margot Tennanbaum (from the Royal Tennanbaums) for her casual dismay towards the world. I only on occasion feel this way.”
Oscar starts live North American dates back in Los Angeles on March 9th which include support slots with Bloc Party and The Vaccines.
