Oscar Lang has set ‘Look Now’ for release on July 21st.

Oscar Lang will take his new album out on the road this August for a seven-date tour of the UK.

He’ll start at the Deaf Institute in Manchester on August 10th and move on to Nottingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Brighton and London from there before the closing night at Bristol’s Louisiana on August 18th.

Lang unveiled his new album Look Now last month with its lead single A Song About Me – one he described as, ‘honest and open but self-aware’:

I wanted to write in a similar world to you’re so vain by Carly Simon or love song by Sara Bareilles. A break up song for all the people that have had their hearts broken, it’s got bit of bite but at the end of the day means well.

“I took influence for the sound from classic songwriters like Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and mixed them with a bit of 90s Britpop a la Verve and Oasis.”
