Oasis’ (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? to get 25th anniversary reissue

Oasis‘ second studio album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? will get a 25th birthday reissue on double silver coloured and picture disc heavyweight vinyl from October 2nd.

The latest Oasis anniversary will also be marked with ‘special content’ online during the coming weeks, when new and contemporary content will be shared around the hashtag #MorningGlory25.

Oasis had the UK’s fastest selling debut album in history and a number one single in Some Might Say by the time …Morning Glory was released to much fanfare in the October of 1995 but, propelled by its Wonderwall single which followed just a few weeks later, the record took the Gallagher brothers to a whole new realm as this early success they had enjoyed in their homeland and further afield in countries such as Japan was replicated around the world.

Today, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? stands as the third best selling studio album in the UK.
