Noel Gallagher will be at Glastonbury next month to introduce last year’s Oasis documentary Supersonic at the festival.
The film is being aired at the William’s Green stage from 9pm on the Friday evening, Gallagher’s attendance for the occasion marking his first public engagement with the film after he avoided the premiere and left promotional duties largely to Liam Gallagher and director Mat Whitecross last year.
Whitecross had told NME just before its premiere that he hoped Supersonic would ‘set the balance right’ on the reputations of each Gallagher brother.
“For whatever reason because of all the tabloid bulls**t and because of the caricature of them that was made through the years people have forgotten what they’re really like and that was one of the things we really wanted to set the balance right and just go look they’re smart, passionate funny people who deserve to be right up front alongside The Rolling Stones, The Beatles all these people,” he said.
