Noel Gallagher returned last week with his new solo single ‘Pretty Boy’.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will headline South Facing Festival on July 28th next year at Crystal Palace in London.

After collaborating with him on that new single, and with further contributions set to feature on the parent album, Johnny Marr has been confirmed as Gallagher’s special guest for the evening.

“For this new record it was the first thing I wrote, the first thing I demoed and the first thing I finished, so it’s only right that it’s the first thing people get to hear,” Gallagher said.

“Massive shout out to my mainest man Johnny Marr for taking it somewhere special.”

The Oasis songwriter is the second South Facing headliner to be announced with Craig David set to play the event on Sunday, August 13th.
