Noel Gallagher will be supported on his night by Blossoms.

Noel Gallagher, Young Fathers and The Chemical Brothers have been confirmed for this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust concert series at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Organiser Roger Daltrey, whose band The Who will be playing orchestral gigs for the charity on March 18th and 20th, has responded:

The £32 million raised from these concerts has been the foundation for the 28 specialised units within the NHS, as well as specialist nurses and youth workers to be there for a young person when cancer has turned their world upside down.

Noel Gallagher, a long-term supporter of the event, has meanwhile promised a ‘unique night’ for his fans: “Teenage Cancer Trust continue to make a real difference to teenagers in what undoubtedly must be the most challenging years of their lives.”

“Having performed at the very first event back in 2000 it is a charity very close to my heart. 24 years and counting is a triumph in itself. NGHFB will be there en masse. Together we will make the night unique. I’d buy a ticket if I were you.”

Also announced for the line-up is a special ‘Ovation’ night which will be celebrating the nearly quarter century of TCT, when Daltrey is to be joined by Kelly Jones, Robert Plant, Pete Townshend, Eddie Vedder and Paul Weller on March 24th.
