Live4ever’s recap of the main stories we featured during the past seven days includes a new single from Noel Gallagher and huge stadium dates for Taylor Swift.

Noel Gallagher has shared Pretty Boy, the first song from his upcoming new album with the High Flying Birds.

“For this new record it was the first thing I wrote, the first thing I demoed and the first thing I finished, so it’s only right that it’s the first thing people get to hear,” Gallagher said.

“Massive shout out to my mainest man Johnny Marr for taking it somewhere special. Oh…and watch out for a cameo from me in the video…first one to spot me wins a bag of Flamin’ Hot Wotsits Giants!”

IDLES will put out a 5th anniversary version of their debut record Brutalism on December 9th, the digital edition coming with their surprise live set on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury earlier this year.

“What started as a headstone slab of indulgence and unrest became a long journey of beauty, forgiveness, and gratitude,” Joe Talbot has said.

“Little did we know that it was not just a headstone but the foundations we were building, for a house full to the brim with loving human beings. Thank you so so much.”

A video for the remastered 2022 version of The Beatles’ Revolver album track I’m Only Sleeping has been premiered – a true labour of love for director Em Cooper who painted each frame individually on oil over the course of several months.

“It was a project that I felt an immediate spark for right from the word go, and somehow that momentum carried me right through to the end,”Cooper said.

“I love The Beatles. We used to listen to this song on tape in the car when I was a child, and the song itself evokes such a mesmerising, languid, dreamy state, in a way my job was only to follow its lead with a paintbrush in my hand.”

Taylor Swift has announced a run of North American stadium shows for next year shortly after the runaway chart success of Midnights.

The Era Tour has been scheduled to open at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ next March, and through to August will stop for two nights in cities such as Atlanta, East Rutherford and Chicago.

Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium is to host the final two concerts on August 4th and 5th.

Pulp, George Ezra, The Chemical Brothers and Robbie Williams have been revealed the headliners for next year’s Isle Of Wight Festival.

The announcement adds to Pulp’s live comeback in 2023, while George Ezra and The Chemical Brothers are set to share top billing on the Main Stage on the Saturday night.

Other performers across the weekend will include Manic Street Preachers, The Human League, Echo & The Bunnymen, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Blondie and The Enemy.

The full tracklist for the accompanying soundtrack to the Black Panther sequel Wakanda Forever has been revealed, with Stormzy, Burna Boy and PinkPantheress amongst the featured artists.

The soundtrack has already brought the return of Rihanna on Lift Me Up, which is confirmed to open the OST, while Burna Boy is on there with Alone.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to be released in the United States on November 11th.
