New Order have landed at #2 on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart with ‘People On The High Line‘.

It’s not the highest new entry this week though, that accolade goes to Zomby & Burial who are on top with ‘Sweetz‘. The Stone Roses still have two tracks in the Top 10; ‘Beautiful Thing‘ drops from number one to #3 while ‘All For One‘ is a non-mover at #5.

Dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company last year in recognition of the continuing resurgence of the traditional format – the singles chart is compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
