Beabadoobee has released her second studio album Beatopia today on New Music Friday – stream it on Live4ever right here.

The release of Beabadoobee’s follow-up to the 2020 debut Fake It Flowers has been marked with a new video for ‘Sunny day’, an album track inspired by the 2000’s sounds of the likes of Nelly Furtardo and Corrine Bailey Rae.

“Sunny Day is a song that I’ve always wanted to make but something that I’ve never done before,” Bea explains.

“Putting it on Beatopia was quite nerve wracking for me but I’m glad I did. We had written it during a week of crazy productivity in terms of creating songs, I had a session with Starsmith and the song just flowed naturally. I love it.”

Also coming up today is an appearance at Finsbury Park in London as part of the bill headlined there by Sam Fender.
