The Sun newspaper has claimed the live DVD now widely rumoured to be being prepared for release by Led Zeppelin will hit the shelves in November.
A cryptic status update from the legendary band on their newly-launched official Facebook page over the weekend sparked speculation that a brand new DVD of a 2007 reunion concert at London’s O2 Arena is imminent, and now the tabloid has quoted a source claiming an official release date of November 22nd.
“Jimmy has been in the studio making sure everything is perfect,” the ‘source’ says. “The band want it to remain true to their exceptionally high standards. It’s coming out on November 22 as part of a simultaneous global release.”
Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones – together with Jason Bonham, son of the late Led Zep drummer John – reunited in December 2007 for the special concert which was held in memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun, who had passed away a year earlier in 2006.
