A new EP featuring the last recordings made by David Bowie before his death have been released to mark what would have been his 70th birthday.

As the first anniversary of his passing also approaches, the No Plan EP features Lazarus and the tracks from the musical of the same name No Plan, Killing a Little Time and When I Met You. A video for No Plan is below.

There was a charity gig in Brixton last weekend led by Gary Oldman and former bandmates and friends – the same location where an impromptu street party kickstarted nearly a year ago. “7:30pm outside Brixton’s Ritzy cinema and it is cold enough to not want to be hanging around there drinking still colder cans of beer,” Live4ever said of it.

“Natural instincts though, like fingertips, are numbed and the only want on the layers of faces – some Ziggyfied by a slash of lightning – swarming over the open concrete, standing on walls, hanging out of windows have is to hear David Bowie‘s music.”
