The 38th album of Neil Young‘s career is set for December 2nd.

Peace Trail is the swift successor to EARTH from the veteran, tireless songwriter, containing ten new songs all written and recorded since then with session musicians Jim Keltner (drums) and Paul Bushnell (bass) at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-la Studios.

It’s described in a press release as ‘primarily acoustic’, reflecting ‘an intimate, sparse approach that draws the listening into the heart of the songs in a personal way’.

A video for lead single Indian Givers is below ahead of release on CD, digital download and cassette, with a vinyl edition following in January.
