Neil Young & Crazy Horse top UK Record Store Chart

Neil Young & Crazy Horse are at number one on the UK Record Store Chart this week with ‘Psychedelic Pill’ – the second of two albums released this year following the collection of folk classics and traditional staples, ‘Americana‘, which was issued back in June.

Elsewhere, Alt-J have jumped to #5 after their debut ‘An Awesome Wave‘ took home the Mercury Music Prize last week, while Tame Impala‘s fantastic ‘Lonerism‘ LP has also risen, standing at #4 on the chart which is compiled from sales registered at the UK’s independent record shops.
