Actor and popstar Justin Timberlake has collaborated with Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford on the soundtrack for the upcoming Coen Brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis, a movie in which he also plays the leading role.
“I did work with Marcus Mumford on the soundtrack,” Timberlake has told Capital FM.
“Marcus and myself, we all kind of worked on the music together and I don’t know any other world where we would have the opportunity to collaborate like that but it was so much fun.”
“So not only will that be a great movie, but the music to it will be fantastic.”
Timberlake stars in the movie along side Marcus Mumford’s wife Carey Mulligan. It does not as yet have an official release date, but is expected to make its premiere at some stage this year.
John Goodman, F. Murray Abraham, Adam Driver and Garrett Hedlund also have roles in the film.
