Million Moons by Callum McMillan
New music from Million Moons and Winona Oak brought some of the favourite tracks on Live4ever’s radar this week – check them out right here.
Million Moons have released their new single Black Sun Rising after sessions at The Ranch in Southampton with Rolo Tomassi cohort Lewis Johns.
“We knew this would be a single from the moment Ed shared the first demo in the group thread,” bass player Jay Miller has responded.

Bloom, ‘reflects transformation’, Winona Oak has said, ‘the idea that even after pain life still finds ways to grow’, after setting her second studio album for release on September 25th.
It’s being previewed with the lead single Breaking Point, which she’s added is about, ‘the moment when the illusion finally cracks’.

Baxter Dury has said the track is, ‘unsettling and sleazy just how it should be’, after working with holybones on the band’s new single ‘SLUGBOY’.
“We’ve been fans of Bax’s for a long long time, so it was great to get in the studio and write SLUGBOY with him,” the group, who have also self-directed the track’s video, added.

Prima Queen have released their new single Crumb on Submarine Cat Records ahead of UK festival and headline gigs which are coming up this year.
“Crumb is about when you are in a state of limerence for someone,” the duo said.
Nation Of Language have shared their version of Bruce Springsteen‘s Tougher Than The Rest and will release it on a limited run of 1000 7″ singles on May 29th.
“Like so many young New Jersey residents, I grew up listening to Springsteen, but this song somehow slipped by me during that formative era,” Ian Richard Devaney said. “I was really only exposed to it within the last few years, and it’s followed me around since then.”

Broken Social Scene have posted their new single The Call with the band’s first studio record in nearly a decade, Remember The Humans, due for release on May 8th.
“There’s a different kind of honesty in this record,” Charles Spearin has previously said. “We’ve had success, we’ve lost friends, we’ve lost parents, we’re at this ‘what happens next?’ stage in life.”
