Miles Kane is resuming his Last Shadow Puppets partnership with Alex Turner, this time for a film project which he describes as having a ‘X-Men kind of vibe’.
“It’s something we always talk about, but I think we’re gonna write this film first anyway before we hit back into that,” he tells Digital Spy of the occasional band’s plans.
“It’s gonna have a sort of X-Men kind of vibe and sort of set in the 60s, but I can’t give anymore away than that. We’re not planning to be in the film but we may have a little cameo.”
Kane and Turner have continued their long-term musical relationship during the past few years mainly via the medium of regular live collaborations, but are yet to follow-up their 2008 debut album ‘The Age Of The Understatement‘ which went to number one in the UK and was nominated for that year’s Mercury Music Prize.
