Michael Kiwanuka‘s next tour of the UK and Ireland opens in Glasgow on October 6th.

He’ll travel to Ireland for gigs in Cork, Belfast and Dublin not long after, and plays the final night in Manchester on October 22nd.

Kiwanuka’s about to compete for the 2016 Mercury Prize thanks to his stunning ‘Love & Hate‘ album – one we gave a glowing appraisal of upon release, concluding:

“Some of ‘Love & Hate’s innate timelessness is due in no small measure to producer Brian Burton, a troubadour who has turned his retro-stylings into gold with meaningful regularity. Wise to the strength of the material here, his touch is light.”
