It’s Marika Hackman’s first release on Chrysalis Records.

Marika Hackman is back with a brand new single entitled No Caffeine.

“No Caffeine is a list of what to do to avoid having a panic attack and looking at my anxiety as an abusive partner,” Hackman said.

The track was self-produced along with additional work from Thom Yorke and Warpaint cohort Sam Petts-Davies and Hackman’s long-term collaborator Charlie Andrew, while the video was co-directed with Natàlia Pagès.

It’s four years since the Any Human Friend album, while a little more recently Hackman shared her version of Sharon Van Etten’s track Jupiter 4, which featured on her lockdown covers collection.

I love this song so much and it was such a wonderful process creating a cover version of my own. Performing it live was a real highlight of the set for me, I just loved having the opportunity to sing those lyrics and really inhabit the mood of the track.
