L’objectif have also announced a headline UK tour.

L’objectif have set their new EP The Left Side for release via Chess Club Records on March 22nd.

“This song was the last song written on the EP and was finished relatively quickly,” the band have said of its lead track Puppy.

It’s kind of a pop song but despite the title, it’s actually pretty dark lyrically. It’s a song about desperation just sugarcoated in an indie dance tune, which is usually what you can expect with us lot. Saying that, it sounds like nothing we’ve done before at all.

The UK tour, meanwhile, is set to open in Glasgow on April 11th and will include a hometown date at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club two days later.
