Our final New Tunes Guide of April is here with highlights from five-piece Blossoms and Melbourne’s The Cherry Dolls.
Blossoms were formed last year and consist of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock. ‘Madeleine’ is the second single lifted from the band’s debut EP ‘Bloom’ and was recorded at the Eve Studios in Stockport with producer Martin King.
‘Wasted Pearls’ is the debut single from The Cherry Dolls, who hail from Melbourne and cite the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Strokes, Velvet Underground and early Kings of Leon as chief inspirations. “Whatever you think it is, it’s the complete opposite,” singer Joshua Aubry says of the track.
