Little Man Tate have added a second homecoming reunion show for later this year.
After returning earlier this month with plans to play the O2 Academy in Sheffield on September 18th, which is now sold out, the band have confirmed a date for the following night. “We’ve had offers over the last few years to do something, but it was never the right time due to other things that were going on in our lives,” frontman Jon Windle said. “This time it was perfect, we are all in a really good place and just can’t wait to do it.”
Windle, together with the original line-up of Edward Marriott, Ben Surtees and Dan Fields, will be back at the venue which hosted their farewell gig over a decade ago; “It’s something that we have sat down and discussed at length for a while now and we have decided that after a good innings, we’ve achieved what we set out to do and it’s time we moved on to other things,” they said at the time.
“We’re all still good mates and we’ll carry on supporting each other whatever we decide to go on and do from here.”
