A big week for Liam Gallagher continues tomorrow with the first play of his debut solo single.
Gallagher is set to make his live bow as a solo artist at the Manchester Ritz tonight, with proceeds being donated to the victims of last week’s atrocity at the Manchester Arena.
And it’ll be Wednesday when fans first get to hear the studio version of Wall Of Glass which is due to air on the MistaJam BBC Radio 1 show.
The former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman’s sold-out UK and Ireland tour moves on to London, Dublin and Glasgow next month ahead of an LP release in October. Co-writers on the record include Adele collaborator Greg Kurstin.
“It is what it is,” Liam told the Evening Standard. “I didn’t write Live Forever but as soon as I sang it, I made it my own. I class myself as a rock ’n’ roll singer who writes the odd tune now and again. And that is it. I’m not going out saying I’m Bob Dylan.”
