Liam Gallagher, The Killers, The xx lead 2017 Q Awards nominations

Liam Gallagher, The Killers and The xx have all landed three nominations apiece for the 2017 Q Awards.

After launching his solo career earlier this year, Gallagher will compete for Best Track (Wall Of Glass), Best Live Act and Best Solo Act. The Killers and The xx are also up for those first two awards, with The Killers also claiming a Best Act In The World Today nomination and The xx a Best Album mention.

“It’s an honour to host the Q awards again this year and it’s great to see Liam Gallagher back and going head to head with the biggest bands in the industry,” host Christian O’Connell has said.

“This could be the liveliest awards in years.”

The 2017 Q Awards will take place on October 18th at London’s Roundhouse.
