Liam Gallagher has scored his second successive solo UK number one album with Why Me? Why Not.
After the run of chart-toppers which began with Oasis’ 1994 debut Definitely Maybe was broken by his albums released as part of Beady Eye, this result continues the return to prominence for Gallagher which started two years ago with As You Were.
Elsewhere, another Top 20 new entry is immediately behind Gallagher – Keane’s Cause And Effect – while Sam Fender’s debut album Hypersonic Missiles is at #5.
