Leonard Cohen has added a second date at Hop Farm in Kent after fans quickly snapped up tickets for the original show on September 8th.
Cohen will now perform a second gig a day later as part of the world tour in support of his recent ‘Old Ideas‘ album, with tickets going on sale from 9am this coming Monday (May 21st).
“The demand has been overwhelming and it’s fantastic to announce the extra date,” promoter Vince Power has said. “These will be Leonard Cohen’s only UK dates this year and we’re over the moon he’s decided to play them here. It promises to be a fantastic weekend.”
Leonard Cohen is also due to perform two nights in Dublin on September 11th and 12th as part of the European leg of his world tour, while an expansive trip across North America is booked for the winter, with a gig at New York’s Madison Square Garden set for December 18th.
