The Noel Gallagher track looks set to finally see the light of day.

The much talked about collaboration between Noel Gallagher and Shaun Ryder is set to feature on Mantra Of The Cosmos‘ debut album, Live4ever can exclusively reveal.

In our interview with Ryder, the frontman provided an update on the music he’s recording with the supergroup officially launched back in June which also consists of Zak Starkey and Andy Bell, and confirmed the pair’s Oasis bandmate Noel will be making a guest appearance once the LP is finally completed.

“We’ve almost got an album,” he told us. “We must have 10/11 tracks. Not all are finished. The aim is for an album. It’s really quick, I can just nip down to his studio. We don’t all have to be there at the same time. It’s great if you can get me, Andy and Zak all there at the same time, but it’s not really necessary. I really wanna do some live shows with it, jump on somebody’s tour or something. They’re great people as well.”

I’ll tell you what happened with that. I gave that to Noel, and then he sent that to Zak. So that’s gonna be a Mantra Of The Cosmos thing. Zak’s mixed it totally different, it’s now more like an 80’s electro-beat sort of thing. It’s totally different. Noel’s singing on it, me and him.

Our interview with Shaun Ryder also covers his future plans with Black Grape and the Happy Mondays, and much more besides. Check it out in full right here.
