Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has posted ‘Trouble‘ online as the first track to be taken from his upcoming solo album ‘Crosseyed Heart‘. Check it out at the end of this article.
Richards confirmed his first solo album since 1992 for release in September earlier this month, revealing the fifteen new songs will stick close to his long-term passions and inspirations, these being ‘reggae, rock, country and the blues’.
“I had a ball making this new record and working with Steve Jordan and Waddy Wachtel again,” he said. “There’s nothing like walking into a studio and having absolutely no idea what you’re going to come out with on the other end.”
Richards might yet be playing a part in a new Stones album too after the band’s live return to mark their 50th anniversary; both he and frontman Mick Jagger have publicly discussed their hopes for a new record almost exactly a decade on from 2005’s ‘A Bigger Bang‘.
