James and Happy Mondays were in London on August 11th.
James and Happy Mondays continued their respective festival summers at South Facing last Friday, with the former set to wrap up their touring in Portugal and Jersey by the start of September.
Also on the agenda are rearranged orchestral tour dates with Joe Duddell in October – more work for one of the UK’s most enduringly popular live bands who, ‘always look to be uplifting’, as Jim Glennie told Live4ever in our exclusive interview:
We always want that rise at the end that sends people away sweaty and having a good sing with a big smile on their face. That’s what we’re looking for. We might take a bit of a circuitous route to get there, but that’s what we want, and we always do.
