Iggy Pop, Primal Scream lead new entries on UK Record Store Chart

Iggy Pop 1

An entirely new Top 5 on the UK Record Store Chart this week, all led by Iggy Pop‘s ‘Post Pop Depression‘ album.

Iggy’s collaboration with producer Josh Homme is immediately ahead of Primal Scream‘s latest record ‘Chaosmosis‘, while Underworld, James and Damien Jurado are also new in the Top 5, with Richmond Fontaine a new entry too at #6.

Launched in conjunction with the Record Store Day celebrations of 2012, the UK Record Store Chart aims to support Britain’s independent music shops and is compiled entirely from sales registered at 100 of those leading outlets.
