After marking the start of their North American tour with Black Lips by releasing Balm Of Gilead, Iceage put out another new track as the tour drew to a close in New York earlier this week.

Broken Hours is the final new cut from the band for 2018, and also follows the year’s Beyondless LP – an album which inspired punk pioneer Richard Hell to describe the band as one which he could ‘totally imagine himself as a kid lying in his closed-door room in the dark, listening to and getting what he needs’:

“The way a band can make a person feel seen and bring confidence, sometimes even represent an ideal. Or maybe I’m already all defiant and self-certain, and I identify with Iceage because they are too.”

Next month brings European dates for Iceage at Bi Nuu in Berlin, Germany on December 5th and London’s Hackney Arts Centre on the 7th.
