Hayden Thorpe has been musing on, ‘the meeting point between science and religion, the grand struggle for reality that shapes so much of our time’.
Hayden Thorpe will release his Moondust For My Diamond solo album on October 15th.
“What about nature? What about the cosmos? What about all these things that break through the tyranny of the self? Our sense organs bring the world inside of us after all, I just had to sing it back out,” Thorpe says.
“I was enchanted again with the mystery of science and how I might speak from the heart in an age where metric is gospel.”
The follow-up 2019’s Diviner – one of Live4ever’s top albums of that year – and the 2020 EP Aerial Songs will be premiered at live shows in Kendal and London in October, after which the Wild Beasts man will head out on a tour of Europe in support of Jon Hopkins.
