Haim have been talking up their second studio album for almost two years, but it looks they are finally ready to unleash something substantial this summer.
In a video update posted on Twitter, the trio have prepared fans for activity in the very near future.
“We’ve just been in the studio for so long,” they say. “Like, perfecting and trying to get it right. At this point, we just want to go out there and play the songs live.”
The band took their time on debut album ‘Days Are Gone‘ too; having won the BBC’s Sound Of… poll right at the start of 2013, the LP eventually followed in the September of that year, hitting the top spot in the UK and going Top 10 in the US.
The sisters Haim play American and European dates in the coming months, and will be at Reading/Leeds in August.
