As widely expected, Guns N Roses have been confirmed as one of the headliners for this year’s Coachella Festival, but the exact line-up which will take to the stage over consecutive weekends in April is still to be revealed.

It was thought frontman Axl Rose would officially announce the celebrated ‘Appetite For Destruction‘-era line-up had reformed for the festival during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the US last night (January 4th), but ‘unforeseen circumstances’ meant the guest spot was cancelled.

It means fans are left clinging still to rumours and online hints, more of these coming from Slash and Duff McKagan who both posted pictures of the Coachella line-up on social media.

Axl Rose has been performing consistently under the Guns N Roses banner ever since those ‘Appetite For Destruction’ glory days, but his reconciliation with Slash last year and the potential onstage reunion at Coachella would result in the pair performing together for the first time in over two decades.

Joining Guns N Roses as Coachella headliners will be LCD Soundsystem and Calvin Harris.
