Glastonbury is going online after two successive pandemic-related cancellations.

With the usual near 200,000 festival-goers unable to attend their festival again this year, Michael and Emily Eavis are going to bring Glastonbury to us in a few weeks’ time.

On May 22nd, artists including Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM, Idles, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka and Wolf Alice will be part of a livestream event featuring some of Worthy Farm’s best known landmarks like the Pyramid Stage and Stone Circle, with more special guests promised.

The five-hour show will also be interspersed with narration delivered by more special guests, Emily Eavis excited to, ‘show the farm as you have never seen it’.

“There will also be some very special guest appearances and collaborations,” she continues.

“We are hoping this will bring a bit of Glastonbury to your homes and that, for one night only, people all over the world will be able to join us on this journey through the farm together.”
