Foster The People‘s blissful, west coast anthem ‘Pumped Up Kicks‘ has been included on a new list of ‘Songs Of The Summer’, which has been compiled by VH1.
The music channel has collected data from various sources including YouTube, iTunes, Last.fm, and its own VH1 charts during the last 14 weeks in order to compile the rundown.
Unsurprisingly, the pop genre dominates the chart, with Katy Perry‘s ‘Last Friday Night‘ coming out on top, ahead of Adele‘s ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ – the first single taken from smash-hit album ‘21‘.
‘Pumped Up Kicks’ comes in at #9, and was described by the Live4ever Ezine back in June as having a ‘…modern twist and a liberal dollop of summer time abandon.’ Read our full review here.
