Florence & The Machine, Lykke Li new for BBC’s Biggest Weekend

Florence & The Machine is one of the latest acts to sign up for the first ever BBC’s Biggest Weekend.

Artists from across the musical spectrum will be performing in all four corners of the UK next month, with Noel and Liam Gallagher, Taylor Swift, Nigel Kennedy, Beck, Young Fathers and Underworld some of those already confirmed.

Adding to it all, Florence & The Machine will be at the pop-orientated day in Swansea on May 27th, as will Shawn Mendes and Demi Lovato. The 6Music curated day in Belfast, meanwhile, has added Lykke Li to its line-up.

“You know it’s the start of the summer when we put on a massive festival, and we’re bringing two of the biggest artists in the world to Swansea,” said Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw.

“Taylor and Ed plus a whole massive line-up to be announced make The Biggest Weekend the event of the year.”
