Fleetwood Mac‘s Rumours is on top of the UK Record Store Chart for the first full week of 2020.

In an expectedly quiet week for new releases, there’s reentries inside the Top 20 for the likes of Oasis, black midi, David Bowie and The Beatles, while a couple of last year’s standout LPs – Dogrel and Incidental Music – have both climbed up a few places.

The Official Charts Company launched the UK Record Store Chart in 2012 to reflect the last decade’s drive to support independent music outlets and the concurrent surge in vinyl sales. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
